Broncos re-sign Cory Paix

Brisbane Broncos have re-signed Cory Paix for an additional 2 years, which will see him at the club until at least the end of the 2025 season.

“I love the boys here, the coaching staff and the office staff, it’s such a cool place to be,” Paix told Broncos.com.au.

“This club has had so many great players, and that’s where I wanted to get to and that’s where I wanted to position myself.

“I signed my first contract when I was 15, they’ve been so welcoming and looked after me from day dot.

“As a youngster, the Broncos stood out to me, hearing how good the system was here, and how much you can learn and develop as a footy player and as a person as well, it was a no-brainer for me.”

“I remember quite clearly, it started when I was at a national carnival,” Paix said.

“It blew my mind that I got picked for an under 12s Queensland side. Ever since then, I really wanted to work hard and realised playing footy could be an option for me.

“I’ve put in a lot of hard work over the years to get where I am and am still putting in a lot of hard work.

“That’s the time in my life that showed me I wanted to pursue this as a career.”
